Sustainability report

Reimagining for the digital reader

As sustainability reporting becomes increasingly important for businesses, the way information is presented plays a critical role in how effectively it is understood and communicated. When redesigning Telenor Sweden’s Sustainability Report, the objective was not only to modernize its visual expression but also to improve the overall reading experience.

Recognizing that most stakeholders now consume annual and sustainability reports digitally, I approached the project from a screen-first perspective. The previous format was redesigned into a more spacious and accessible layout, with greater emphasis on readability, navigation, and visual storytelling. Carefully structured content, illustrative elements, and improved typographic hierarchy helped make complex information easier to digest.

To further enhance usability, I introduced interactive navigation features and page-linking systems that allowed readers to move efficiently through the document. The result was a report that felt less like a traditional corporate publication and more like a modern digital reading experience.

The redesign was widely appreciated by stakeholders and established a new benchmark for how Telenor’s future reports should be structured and designed. By combining editorial design principles with digital-first thinking, the project demonstrated how thoughtful design can improve both engagement and accessibility in corporate communication.
